Inktober day 19.

The Ape Crusader plain and simple.

Again i'm using this inktober to try out something different. I wanna walk away from this month having played around and grown.

This time i tried to go iconic and almost logo like in the simplicity. It's cool to analyze the elements of your character and see how much detail you can cut away. I still wanted a bit of tecture to contrast with the flat black areas, so i did a little ink wash on the body.

The whole dude is inked with the trusty old Raphael no.3 brush and the super super heavy black Talons ink.
